The invention relates to the leather industry, namely, devices for stretching and plane drying of flat leathers and hides, the whole invention is an increase in productivity. The use of this device makes it possible, by drying the skin, to optimally increase its area or to treat already prepared skin, and its area will increase by a certain percentage. When elastic airtight sheets 1 and 6 are returned to their original position, a vacuum is removed. When the sheets are pulled again, a vacuum is created inside the sealed space between the elastic airtight sheets 1 and 6. When drying the skin, heat energy is supplied to the leather semi-finished product 4, for example, with this arrangement, heaters 5 (infrared irradiation) , 2 and 4 elastic airtight sheets 1 and 6 are square in shape. The forces provided by the movement of the hydraulic cylinder rod 8, act directly on the edges of the sheets. Since the hydraulic cylinders 8 only act on the lower elastic air of the pressure-resistant sheet 6, the upper sheet 1 is mechanically stretched together with the sheet 6 at the edges. The sequence of operation corresponds to the sequence of operation of the device shown in FIG. 1. FIG. 3 shows the arrangement of the device in which the elastic airtight sheets 1 and 6 form an endless conveyor belt 9 among themselves. The leather semi-finished product 4 is laid and spread on one of the conveyor belts g9 and is then moved by movement of both elastic airtight tapes 1 and 6 into the zone 11 fixings. In this position, the leather semi-finished product is sealed by the ears 7 between the two elastic airtight sheets 1 and 6, the space between which is connected to the vacuum system 3 by means of the nozzle 2. By means of a rod of hydraulic cylinders 8, acting by stretching forces towards the edges of both ribbons, 434 tons of both ribbons, both in the longitudinal direction and in width. From the space between the two elastic airtight sheets 1 and 6 forming the conveyor, the leather semi-finished product 4 moves reciprocatingly in the horizontal plane. In this embodiment of the device, it is possible to supply thermal energy 4 to the leather semi-finished product 4 using radiator 5 or possibly in a sealed space formed by two elastic airtight sheets 1 and 6 and seals to form a high-frequency field. When the tensile strength is re-applied to the leather semi-finished product 4 by means of the rods of the hydraulic cylinders 8 during the drying process (due to the dynamic effect), the quality of the skin increases (its softness increases).
